Boer X Dairy Bone in Goat Shoulder

I think that I would only order Kid Goat in future, as this shoulder needs lots of slow cooking and although tender and quite flavoursome, had a stringy texture, I bit like OX Cheek. The flavour was very close to older lamb or mutton. It’s a lot of work but I’m glad we tried it. 6 of us ate it including an 11 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. No one complained and the kids thought it was good.

I recently bought a half shoulder of Beor goat and slow roasted it. It was such a lovely meat to use and the taste was delicious. I would definitely try it again. Thank you
