Arrived to collect. Short queue to get in was good. Received my order with a minimum of fuss.
The spice bouquet was a lovely surprise and was used over the holidays. Bacon chops were very good, although quite fatty.
2 things that could be improved on, communication wise, for next Christmas,
1 Please can you put Christmas opening times on the emails sent out before Christmas.
2 Some of the phraseology on the emails left a lot to be desired and did not inspire me to become a regular customer. E.g, ‘those who turn up early will be turned away’ could be rewritten a little more kindly to something like ‘we have a great number of orders to fulfil before Christmas, so to help us with this please can you come along at your allotted time. Thank you’.
